Frosted Strawberry is a Pop-Tarts flavor that was originally released in 1963. It comes in 8 and 16 count boxes and is one of the original flavors, alongside Blueberry, Brown Sugar Cinnamon, and Apple Currant.

Originally, it came unfrosted, as at the time, they thought that frosting would melt and burn in the toaster. In 1967, frosting was found to be able to survive in the toaster, thus Frosted Strawberry Pop Tarts were sold.

Kellogg's Description:

Our classic Pop-Tarts flavor. Sweet frosting decorated with rainbow sprinkles and filled with strawberry-flavored goodness. No wonder it's so popular.
